Location: Oxygen House, Exeter

We are currently working remotely and are in the process of trialling a flexible hybrid working model. There will be an ongoing requirement for the role holder to regularly attend our Exeter office and will be a point of IT contact for staff who are working in the office.

Term: Full time, 40 hour working week

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience plus generous company benefits

This is a new opportunity to be a pivotal team member of the ATASS Sports IT Team based at Oxygen House, Exeter. ATASS Sports are part of the Oxygen House Group which is a Certified B Corporation.

You will be joining a team of five working in a hybrid environment managing on-premise systems in the early stages of cloud migration. You can expect a varied role that branches out into virtualisation (VMware), networking and infrastructure as required. With a small team in a busy office, you will need to get involved in all aspects from project work to Helpdesk tickets.

We love to see our team members thrive and future development would be a key aspect of this role. Some of our best project work has grown out of personal interests and a candidate would be encouraged to explore areas they enjoy working on.  Some of the projects we have worked on over the past twelve months are:

  • Office 365 migrations
  • Internal security improvements through implementing CIS controls
  • VPN and remote access improvements

About you

You’ll be an experienced Window Systems Administrator, with excellent attention to detail and fully committed to high quality work. You’ll be able to communicate at all levels and have exceptional problem solving and organisational skills.


  • Experience as a Windows Systems Administrator or similar role with 2nd/3rd line support
  • Experience managing aspects of a Microsoft environment, in particular Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP and DNS
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud services such as Office 365, Azure AD, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams


  • Virtualisation (VMWare)
  • Networking (Juniper, Dell)
  • Security (Firewall and Email Filtering Suites)
  • Storage Area Networks (Equallogic, Compellent, Pure)
